Goodman / Amana AMP-DMH4-0855 is the MERV 8 pleated pre-filter for the GDMHEPA400 ducted whole-house HEPA air cleaner. Captures larger dust and lint particles before air reaches the carbon (DMH4-0810) and HEPA cylinder stages downstream — protecting the more expensive HEPA from premature loading. Replace on a 3-6 month cycle in a typical residential install.
