The Goodman AMP-461007 is the carbon-impregnated pre-filter that sits in front of the HEPA cylinder in Clean Comfort CC-HEPA and CC-HEPAUV air cleaners. Air passes through this carbon pad for odor removal before reaching the downstream HEPA stage. Replacement on a 6-12 month cycle keeps the more expensive HEPA cylinder running clean and extends its life. AMP-461007 (Goodman) and DF19730 (Dust Free) are functionally equivalent.
